TERMS  & CONDITIONS

Thank you for booking a tour/ transfer with SlowTravel.pl. Please read and accept the following conditions.

ORGANISER 

SlowTravel.pl  is a brand of   Reporter Travel & Consulting Małgorzata Zielina and this company will issue the invoice. Full company billing details are: Reporter Travel & Consulting Małgorzata Zielina, ul. Weryhy-Darowskiego 9/20, 30-198 Kraków, Poland. NIP: 548-117-57-37.  SlowTravel.pl/ Reporter Travel & Consulting Małgorzata Zielina – is mentioned below as the Organiser.

VISITOR – a person/organization  who books a tour via www.slowtravel.pl web site for him/herself and other members of his/her group.

PAYMENT 

SlowTravel.pl  tours  must be prepaid in full using options available on the website. Card payments are processed by Stripe.com company on the secure SSL connection.  Bank transfer is also available as payment option.

If the payment is done with cash to the Organiser’s representative  (either for an additional transfer or a tour), a receipt – if requested – can be sent to provided e-mail address within 7 days after the service is finished.

Payment are accepted  in EUR or PLN (for tours provided in Polish).

TOURS

The duration of  tours is approximate.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS

For incoming transfer, Visitors  are always collected by a driver directly from arrivals hall at the airport who holds a welcome board with provided name. Driver’s waiting time is max. 60 minutes from the time of plane’s arrival. After that time, the driver will be called off. If – for some reason – you cannot find our driver/representative, please call us at:  +48 508 051 555.

For returning trip, Visitors should always wait at reception desk of hotel/hostel or in front of main entrance of accommodation. Driver’s waiting time is max. 15 minutes. After that time, the driver will be called off. If – for some reason – you cannot find our driver/representative, please call us at:  +48 508 051 555.

DISCOUNTS FOR TOURS

Private tours – no discounts apply for children and students.

Student price is for tourists under 25 years old, holders of an international student ID card on tours to Wieliczka Salt Mines and Auschwitz- Birkenau ( – 5 EUR/ person discount is provided in both cases).

CONFIRMATION

In case of  such tours & transfers like: Krakow- Old Town Walk, History of Jews during WWII, transfer to/ from Krakow airport – slowtravel.pl web page functions automatically. The Visitor makes a booking, pays and the booking  will be automatically confirmed.  The Visitor has just to download his/her voucher.

In case of other tours – on request – the Organiser will send the Visitor via email more information previously checking availability.

RESPONSIBILITY 

The Organiser shall assume no responsibility for accidents or damages beyond the control of the Organiser occurred during the tour. In such case the Visitor does not place any responsibility at the side of our company and shall abandon any claims on the Organiser  for any accidents, damages or injuries occurred during the tour.

The Visitor, on behalf of his/herself and/or any person or entity acting through or on behalf of participant, fully comprehends and accepts all of the risks associated with his/her participation in the tours including exposure to unfavorable weather conditions, food sickness, injuries (e.g. those arising out of self-inflicted accidents or mishaps, other participants, automobiles, pedestrians and the like).

The Organiser cannot be held liable for any delays, changes in the tour program, irregularities, strikes, loss or left of luggage and of any other personal item. The Organiser is not responsible for mechanical breakdowns, government actions, weather conditions, acts of God, misconnections or related expenses to/from flights or other circumstances beyond its control. The guard against unforeseen circumstances, we strongly recommend you purchase optional travel insurance.

Visitor’s responsibility: The Visitor  is financially responsible for any actions that lead to damages of the vehicle in which he or she is travelling or harm to any other participants in the tour. B

MEETING POINT 

The meeting point for our tours depends on the type of tour and is agreed and described in email correspondence.

LUGGAGE

Luggage is allowed during our tours. Please remember, that in some places due to internal regulations there is no luggage allowed, including women’s bags.

PUNCTUALITY 

Please be punctual for the tour. In case of problems with locating the starting point or any other reason for running late, please call our office at +48 508 051 555.

WEATHER 

Our tours are held regardless of the weather conditions. In the case of rain, we will do our best to make accommodations along the route. Bad weather conditions are not grounds for cancelling the tour unless they make it impossible or extremely uncomfortable to walk. No refund is available if you decide not to take the tour because of unfavourable weather conditions.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

If the Visitor cancels ahead of the tour, depending on the time of cancellation and means of transportation,  some part of the payment may not be refunded due to the cost of bookings we make. The following rates apply:

Individual visitors and groups of less than 5 participants (tours and transfers):

* cancelling up to 72 hours before the starting time of a tour/ transfer: 100% of the price is refunded;

* cancelling between 48 and 72 hours before the starting time of a tour/transfer: 50 % of the price is refunded;

* cancelling less than 48 hours before the starting time of a tour/transfer, or in case of no –show: 0% of the price is refunded;

Groups of 6 and more participants (transfers):

* cancelling up to 96 hours before the starting time of a transfer: 100% of the price is refunded;

* cancelling between 48 and 96 hours before the starting time of a transfer: 50 % of the price is refunded;

* cancelling less than 48 hours before the starting time of a tour/transfer, or in case of no –show: 0% of the price is refunded;

Groups of 6 and more participants (tours):

* cancelling up to 168  hours (7 days) before the starting time of a tour: 100% of the price is refunded (minus costs of purchased tickets, e.i. to Auschwitz Birkenau camp or Wieliczka Salt Mines)

* cancelling between 72 and 168 hours before the starting time of a transfer: 70 % of the price is refunded ((minus costs of purchased tickets, e.i. to Auschwitz Birkenau camp or Wieliczka Salt Mines)

* cancelling less than 72 hours before the starting time of a tour/transfer, or in case of no –show: 0% of the price is refunded.

The Organiser  will not refund any money due to passengers arriving late for check-in/ tour pick-up (it refers to public tours, train journeys etc)

In case of public tours the minimum number of participants to start a tour is 2 (two). In case of not reaching the minimum number at least 24h ahead of the scheduled start of the tour, the Organiser will cancel the tour and refund all payments received. If the Organiser  must cancel a tour for any other reason, we will naturally refund all payments received.

Only in special circumstances may the Visitor  change the date of the paid reservation, and this can be done no later than 48 hours before the tour starts (this applies only to public  tours). In the case of private events the change must be made at least 7 days before the date of the tour/transfer via an email send to: info@slowtravel.pl.  In case of change as specified above, the Visitor will be informed of any possible additional costs of the tour on the new date. If the Visitor does not agree to the additional costs, he or she may cancel their reservation according to the Organiser’s cancellation policy.

Refund will come up on the credit card (refund on the card).

NO SHOWS

the Organiser   will not refund unused or partially used features including such items as sightseeing tours, transfer and attraction entrance fees.

By making a payment you confirm to agree to the Terms and Conditions. 

COMPLAINTS & REIMBURSEMENTS

The Visitor has the right to file a complaint which may be submitted to the following email address: info@reportertravel.pl.  If during the tour the Visitor confirms that the contract has not been properly executed, he or she should immediately inform the tour guide about this, or in his or her absence, the driver or Organiser. The Visitor’s complaint should be submitted to the Organiser  in writing no later than 30 days after the end of the tour and must be accompanied by appropriate documentation evidencing amounts to be refunded.  The Organiser will deal with the complaint within 14 days of its submission, and in the case of complaints filed during a tour – within 14 days after the end of the tour. In the case that a complaint is not upheld, it will be dismissed and the Visitor will be informed of this decision as well as the reasons for its refusal.

PERSONAL INFORMATION

The administrator of Visitor’s personal information is the Organiser-  Reporter Travel & Consulting Małgorzata Zielina. The Visitor is entitled to access his or her personal information and has the right to change them. All Visitor’s personal information may be used only for contact purposes regarding a tour and/or a transfer.  All Visitor’s  personal information (name, surname, telephone number, email address) provided by the Visitor using the website www.slowtravel.pl  will not be shared or sold to third parties for any purpose.

THE RIGHT TO TRANSFER RIGHTS TO PARTICIPATE IN A TOURIST EVENT

The Visitor may, without the consent of the Organiser, transfer the rights to another person fulfilling the conditions of participation in a tour, if the person accepts all the responsibilities of the contract. The transfer of rights and responsibilities is effective in terms of the Organiser if the Visitor informs him of this no later than 04:00 pm on the day preceding the tour. The Visitor and a person accepting the rights of the contract are jointly responsible for any remaining fees to be paid for participation in the tour and any additional costs incurred by the Organiser as a result of changing the participant of the tour.

LAW

Visitor’s  contract with the Organiser  is subject exclusively to Polish Law and Jurisdiction for Polish Tours and Packages and any other travel arrangements. The Organiser  reserves the right to change these Terms & Conditions  without notice to you.
